Facebook Auto Poster Tutorial

Install and use the Lifetime ZIP manually in Google Chrome. Facebook Auto Poster is developed by BuildMint Software.

Important: Keep the extracted extension folder on your computer. Chrome loads the extension from that folder.

1. Install from the Lifetime ZIP

  1. Complete the purchase through Lemon Squeezy and download the ZIP file it provides.
  2. Extract the ZIP into a stable folder that you will not move or delete.
  3. Open Google Chrome 114 or later.
  4. Enter chrome://extensions in the address bar.
  5. Enable Developer Mode.
  6. Select Load unpacked.
  7. Choose the extracted folder containing manifest.json.
  8. Use Chrome’s Extensions menu to pin FB Group Posting Assistant to the toolbar.
  9. Open Facebook and stay logged in.

No licence key or activation step is required. The Lifetime version is unlocked locally and does not perform a runtime subscription or access check.

2. Set up groups and create a campaign

  1. Open the extension and select Group settings.
  2. Add each Facebook group URL. You can include a label and description to make the list easier to manage.
  3. Return to the extension popup and create a campaign.
  4. Give the campaign a clear name.
  5. Paste the Facebook Page post URL you want to share.
  6. Add optional post text if the campaign needs supporting context.
  7. Select the saved groups that belong in this campaign.
  8. Review campaign status, pacing, and cooldown settings before saving.

Use only Facebook accounts and groups where you are authorized to post. Review Facebook policies and each group’s rules before running a campaign.

3. Schedule or run the campaign

  1. Add one or more schedule times. Schedules use your local time.
  2. Set minimum and maximum delay values for the posting actions.
  3. Review the campaign cooldown and group cooldown. These help prevent the same campaign or group from being processed again too soon.
  4. Save the campaign.
  5. Choose Run now for an immediate run, or leave the enabled campaign ready for a scheduled time.
  6. Keep Chrome open and stay logged in to Facebook while the run is expected to operate.

Both immediate and scheduled runs use the campaign configuration. Facebook pages open as part of the browser-based posting flow.

4. Review the result

Check the campaign run information and confirm the result in Facebook. Interface changes, unavailable groups, account access, group rules, or login state may affect a run. Automation does not replace your responsibility to review what is posted.

5. Update manually

  1. Download the newer ZIP release from Lemon Squeezy when one is provided.
  2. Extract it into a stable folder.
  3. Open chrome://extensions.
  4. If you replaced files in the same folder, select Reload. Otherwise, remove the old unpacked extension and choose Load unpacked for the new folder.
  5. Confirm your group and campaign settings before the next run.

Settings are kept in Chrome extension storage. They usually remain when Chrome treats an update as the same extension, but keep a separate copy of important group URLs and campaign details before replacing files.

6. Troubleshooting

Load unpacked is not visible
Enable Developer Mode on chrome://extensions.
Chrome says the manifest is missing
Select the extracted folder that directly contains manifest.json.
The extension disappeared
Restore the extracted folder to its original location or load the extension again.
Chrome shows a developer mode warning
Chrome shows this for manually installed unpacked extensions.
A scheduled run did not start
Confirm the campaign is enabled, Chrome is open, and you are logged in to Facebook.
A group cannot be processed
Confirm the group page is accessible to your Facebook account and that the saved URL is still valid.
Posting no longer works after a Facebook change
Check whether a newer ZIP release is available. Facebook interface changes can require a compatibility update.
